How to-- editing photos?

how to add really cool effects to photos, like urban, hip, and kinda color crazy effects, if you know what im talking about? photoshop? etc.. please help!!!!!!!! (:

If you can manipulate photos and the software perfectly, anything can be done in photoshop but will take some time. I agree with fhotoace. Touchups at the last minute are kept to a minimal so that the pic looks natural.

As for you, I gather you want to create a flyer or poster. So, just choose some fancy background . Then assemble the elements you want to use and cut / paste them on that background. If you want to add transparency or fading effects, use the transparency tool to control the merge.

You want to add cool text effects? Just type whatever you want and highlight it so that you can view the different font effects.

The rest is left to your own creativity and imagination. How can I or others explain their ideas. When I shoot or design, it is done on the spot and created for that specific moment in time jsut like a photographer sees a beautiful lightning and happens to have his finger on the shutter.

I do NOT recommend Blingee . Everything looks bad & you end up with the Blingee sign at the bottom right corner . Try Picnik .

I have been shooting fashion for many years and when we shoot themes like urban, hip, old school, ghetto and the like, 99% of the shot is in the pre-visualization, set preparation and shot choices.  The only Photoshopping that is necessary is for pre-press or a little post production to nail the latitude of some of the shots.

Go to blingee.com they've got heaps of cool stuff for photos and its pretty easy to use.And its free.
