How to eject ipod from car.?

the car i use is toyota scion, and when i plug my ipod, it says click "ok" to eject.

I clicked the ipod "ok", but it doesnt work, so i just unplugged it this time. next time i do it, i want to eject it right, so what do i have to click then?

  1. um.... get a new transmitter, maybe your cord having some technical difficulty  


  2. To be honest most car stereo systems do not have an eject function, my mate has a hyundai and although the ipod displays the same message you just have to disconnect the ipod from the cable yourself.

    This shouldnt damage the ipod because the stereo does not allow our ipods files to be changed in anyway, the reason you are told to eject from itunes is because itunes will always update your ipod and if you do not eject, you run the risk of lost data and songs not being properly added etc...

    But even on a pc everyone just disconnects without pressing eject and its fine, but for a car system theres no data exchange so its perfectly safe just to yank it out.
