How to entertain myself on an airplane???

what to bring in my carry on to enterntain myself? i know i'm going to take my ipod but what else can i take?

im going on a long haul flight in a week, and here are the items im planning on to take to keep me entertained:

ninntendo ds

ipod

magazines, lots of them

a book

sudoku book

a bote book with a pen

and of course, on long haul flights there are films.

if u want, check with ur airline about the films that they might out on, so incase they have really boring films, you could bring along a portable dvd player with films that u want to watch

Uhmm

lets see. Usually what I do is bring like a notebook and a pack of markers & I color... or write in my journal.

I bring my ipod too. Buy a magazine to look at. Or bring a book you want to finish.

How long is the flight?

Personally, I could be on a 8 hour flight and not need much of anything. I dont really get bored on planes.

But if your the type of person that hates long car rides or plane rights then I'd say bring a lot of stuff.

Bring some books, magazines, word searches, Crossword puzzles, a deck of cards to play with someone, paper and  pencils (to draw, write, or play games), and a journal (if you have one). On most airlines they have a TV with movies. So you could always watch a movie. If your tired you could also sleep.
