How to erase an old url that is still in the adress bar?

I hope you guys know what I mean :/

When you hit the arrow where the adress bar is its shows all the sites you've been to. Well how do you remove a site from this hostory?

I hover the mouse over one of them so it is highlighted, then press the delete button on the keyboard. If you want to delete all of them, you can press and hold delete.

It also work with things you've searched for like on google or youtube.

If you are using IE 7 (Internet Explorer 7) Go to:

Tools > Internet Options > Delete > Delete All > Check the box that says "Also delete files and settings stored by add-ons" > Click "OK"

on yahoo toolbar go to 'tools' then click on 'delete browsing history'

find the link- right click and delete.
