How to erase data from usb device?

i have an old compact wireless- g usb adapter, and i was wondering if there is way to delete the info on the stick a use it for personal use. is there anyone out there who knows of a program or some sort of eraser program to help with this, or am i wasting my time? Help!!!

Because it looks like a USB flash drive, and plugs in like a USB flash drive, DOES NOT MAKE IT A USB FLASH DRIVE.

It is in fact a transceiver, transmits and receives, not a memory module.

the wireless device is actually a radio reciever packaged in something that looks a little like old usb memory sticks. It cannot be used as a memory stick.

You cant erase data from a usb wireless card.

Wireless can not be erased and then used as a regular "flash" drive
