  1. go to the history tab and delete all.

  2. Tools then Internet Options. Then where it says 'days to keep pages in history' there's a tab that says 'delete history'. Click it. Gets rid of everything - including searches. It is a bit annoying if you just want to type the first letter of a site in, cos it gets rid of that option too.

  4. I use a FREE software download called All-in-on-secretmaker which i've had installed for years now.

It wipes out all your history, cookies, etc everytime you close all the windows on the screen (you don't have to even click it) so you wont ever forget to do it.

There's a little icon and sound that lasts half a second to tell you it's done.

There's also a brilliant Barium spam filter that learns your email account, what spam you kick out, what emails you read, etc and is probably the best i've ever used.

There are free updates constantly and load of setting you can shoose from if you want to set it for children such as a banner blocker, etc.

It is also recommended by PC advisor magazine so you know your safe with it.
