How to escape a campus shooting?

just for safety:

1. ) Does the gunman usually enter the front or back door of a lecture hall?

2.) where are the seats located that are usually safer to escape?

3.) army crawl? does it slow down the escape process?

4.) what to do when guns are spotted?

5.) which universities of which states are the safest for this thing?

  1. You are more likely to be killed crossing the street or riding in a car. Don't be overly concerned.


  2. try getting out of america.  go to a university in another country where firearms are illegal.

  3. Dive for the floor. The gunman is going to start shooting, and hopefully the other students will be up on their feet running also, when they see the first students in the front rows getting shot.

    If you're in a classroom with no escape, you're only hope is to either play dead, or to crouch down and run along the far wall to the front of the classroom, and try to circle around the gunman, and take him from behind.

  4. Back in the day...... We used to do blast drills in school.  Duck-&-cover.  Get under the table/desk and tuck your head between your knees.  This is supposed to somehow protect you from a atom bomb blast.  So it must be good for a maniac Grad-student with a coat full of guns....Right?  

      Look at the bright side,

    At least you don't go to NIU.
