  1. dependes where you want to start if it is in india

mail me if you need any help from india

  2. Establishing a software firm is no different from establishing any firm. You need to know the different types of organisations and how they are treated e.g tax, the organisational structure, you liabilities etc, etc. Naturally, there are people qualified to assist you for a fee (of course). On the other hand, if you know a fair bit yourself, you now have the ability to download and "do it yourself", saving a fair bit in the process.

In registering, you want to be as flexible as possible. Software is a very large field. It is like wanting to be rich but not knowing what, how, why, when, where, who. You need a business plan. You need to have a Vision. You need some mission statements based on an honest assessment of your Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats. 1&2 is based on "you" 3&4 is based on external factors. No substitute for HARD WORK and KNOWLEDGE!!! Good Luck mate. You will need it too.

  3. I bet your life is exciting if you are thinking of starting a software firm.  It is surprisingly easy.  You choose a name.  The Secretary of State will let you know if that name is already taken.  If not, you pay $10 to "trademark" your name.

OK, now you have a name.  Can you work out of your house or garage?  I hope so.  The biggest mistake most people make is to sign a 3 year lease on an office or industrial site. But you don't have any profits yet so you have to put that off until later.

If you hire employees, you need to pay their Social Security.  It's easy and the government helps you. They want you to succeed.

You also have to pay tax to the city on your business.  THey will help you.  Go in person to get started.

Then you have to keep good records so you can pay the IRS on any profit you make.  They let you deduct your expenses, too.

I don't want to make this sound difficult.  I opened my business in 2001.  I'm having fun.
