How to even begin fantasy football draft?

I know little to nothing about it and have been sucked in to make enough people in the league. Where to start? Any suggestions would help.

Join a fun free league.

Yahoo, Fox, Cbs, ESPN all have free leagues.

After you join, do the prep work for your draft.  All the sites have the players ranked and you can change the order of this ranking to create your own custom ranking.  Decide on number of team...12 or 10 is best, and live or auto draft.  Live means you have to be on line when the draft takes place.

This ranking will appear when you do the draft.

The most important thing to remember when you draft for the first time is to make sure your starters have different bye weeks, especially at the same position.  Your backups will also have to have different bye weeks than the starters at the position.

If you are looking for a league to join, I have two live drafts this week.  I would strongly recommend doing a live draft, as it is probably the best part of fantasy.
