Oh man this was tough. If you just train it, it evolves around level 65. Which is pretty suckish, because eevee isnt easy to train. My suggestions, feed your eevee protiens, carbos, etc, until it wont eat anymore. Then it will evolve quicker,

You evolve Eevee into Umbreon by making it happy and leveling it up at night time 8D

To make Umbreon happy, you level it up, give it vitamins like protein and iron, using it in an important battle, and by walking 256 steps with them. You make them not like you by making it faint in battle and giving it herbs such as energy roots etc. Putting your Eevee in the box does not lower your pokemon's happiness, neither does letting it get effected by a status like paralysis or letting it's HP reach critical.

Umbreon is the most powerful Dark type pokemon aside from Darkrai in Pokemon Diamond/Pearl (Tyranitar is uber weak, don't be fooled by his popularity!). It has an amazing defense, sp. defense, and has good hp and sp. att. It's basically a great tank with a powerful bite back.
