How to exersise your knees?????

my knees often hurt (even when I sleep) and I know it's becuase I don't excersise them. Can anyone tell me how I can do this safe and effectively?

  1. Swimming would help. Sometimes joint problem like cartilage problem could cause pain and that you'll need to take glucosamine. Better to consult doctors. Do not carry heavy items. Do 10 - 20 reps of squat twice daily would help too.


  2. the best way for me is in the pool, or in the hottub, you can do squats or deep knee bends in there without feeling the pressure.

  3. If your knees are hurting even when you sleep, you may have a rheumatologic disorder such as rheumatoid arthritis or lupus.  You should see a doctor.
