  1. through ur nose

breathe out and dont think alot

    through ur mouth

breathe out like ur trying to fog a windo but they dont do it that way in freestyle

i dont even do it that way

  2. i usually exhale through my nose.

kinda hold your breathe and exhale by letting out a long, slow sigh through your nose...

  3. I breathe in and out through my mouth. I find breathing through my nose difficult and it sometimes introduces more mucus than people would want to see.

If you are having a hard time with the exhale, think about blowing bubbles while you count to three.

  4. just think of it as blowing bubbles underwater. thats the way most instructors teach little kids when there first learning, its simple and basic, but then again so is breathing under water

  5. I use my nose.  It seems really disgusting.  When I swim I take 4 strokes, then breath, I try to start breathing out my nose at the second stroke, slow and easy so that all of the air is out of my lungs by the time I lift my head out of the water.

Try practicing on the side of the pool, put your head in the water and just blow out your nose.

  6. Before swimming the complete arm pull and flutter kick, practise the proper breathing first in waist or chest-high water.

In all styles of swimming, inhaling and exhaling are done through the mouth. If you accidentally take in a little water, you can still spit it out; but not when the water gets sucked in through the nose because you will feel very uncomfortable.

With a deep breath, while standing,  put your face in the water, purse your lips and blow out small bubbles. Before fully expired, turn your head to one side and gulp in some air through the mouth. You may use your arms to alternate in the pulling motion. Repeat the cycle of head-turns and arm pulls many times until they become second nature to you.

That should sort out your problem and your next step is to get your arm pull and flutter kick combination right.  Regards.   :-))

  7. i just breathe out through my nose like i would out of the water and try not to think about it too much.
