How to explain to a child about where babies come from? Please?

I am pregnant with twin girls and I have a 4 year old boy and a 6 year old boy. My 4 year old boy asked me how the twins got into my tummy...what would you suggest I tell him? I think he may still be too young to undersdtand s*x...Thanks for your help! X God Bless X

tell him daddy put the babies in your tummy. and leave it there. he probably will be satisfied with that answer, and wont aske anymore questions. the less info you give the better.

find some books. hes old enough for that. im sure they make kids books on that subject.

I told my 3 year old that you need a mommy and a daddy and that they love each other and they prayed really hard and God gave them a baby.

Just tell them that God put them there. They don't need to know all the details.

i told my son that god put him there, and when we were at the hospital that he came out of my bottom, and that's why i was so sore after i had him. idk worked for us.

Tell him the truth. The majority will probably go over his head and the rest will keep him satisfied.

tell him maybe when he gets a few years older that you will fully explain that to him, but for now the stork dropped em in your tummy?

we told our kids that there's a mommy part and a daddy part and they come together to make a baby. there is no need to get too graphic. We also showed our kids a website that shows the development of the baby in the womb. That seemed to get our daughter's mind off of how they got in there. I just typed in baby pictures in the womb and all kinds of pictures came up.

i definatly agrea- just tell them mummy and daddy showed each other that they loved each other so much and that there love resulted in a baby. :):):) congratulations to the twins btw and all them sleepless nights!

I would just tell them that mommy's and daddy's bodies are made to fit together and when they decide they want a baby, the daddy puts a seed in the mommy's tummy, where it is protected and grows into a baby (or two).

It's the truth and it's not overly graphic.  I'm not a big fan of shrouding s*x in secrecy.

You should probably have an answer ready for when they ask how the baby is going to get out. LOL.
