Question:

How to extend my audio cables for my Logitech X-540 Speaker System?

I bought the Logitech X-540 5.1 Surround Sound Speaker System and i'd like to extend the rear 4 satellite speakers a bit. I'm thinking a 20 ft. cable or less maybe even 10ft. would probably do. Where would I buy these cables? I'm wondering if Radio Shack would have them.

Also would I lose any sound quality by extending them?

Is there anything else I need to know about extending the cables?

Thanks :]

  1. I can't really see how the wire is connected to the speaker but as long as the wire is not built into the speaker you could easily replace the wire with a 20ft one without a loss in sound quality. Radio Shack has what you need and the salesperson should be more than happy to help you out.
