How to extract a part of song?

Question

In one of the songs there are drums, piano, and violin. I really like the violin part and i would like to know hot to get that rhythm and sound isolated by itself.

Unless the sound file you have has all of the instruments on different tracks already (which is unlikely), that's not going to happen.

do you have a sound card application that has an equalizer rather than merely volume controls?  it won't be perfect, but you could probably highlight the higher frequencies which might give you a little help picking out that timbre.
