How to factory set a Gateway laptop PLEASE HELP!!!!?

How can I set my Gateway laptop back to a factory state ? I want everything back to how it was when I bought it. I don't care if anything personal is deleted. I tried the cds and some programs didn't come up like all the stuff for the camera and all. Is there a special button that I can press that will let me do a full system restore without me needing discs? My Dell desktop is different all I need to do is press CTRL F11 when it's turning on to set it back to factory settings but that doesn't work on this laptop.

What OS are you running on your laptop? I have a Gateway that runs Vista, and the only way that I can think of to do it is to simply do a systems restore all the ways back via control panel.
