How to fall asleep early?

its summer so i usually fall asleep at 2 or 3 but i am going to in about 4 days and i want to go to sleep early 9 o clock since i have to wake up at 5

  1. start going to bed earlier.  You'll need to reset your sleep cycle.  You can also try a sleeping aid, such as Tylonal sleep aid, or melatonin pills.


  2. You have to get your body to adjust then you will by time go to sleep at 9

  3. what i did was, a few days before school started, i set my alarm clock for 9am. then the next day, i set it for 8am. and i just kept setting it an hour earlier, so i would get tired/sleepy earlier at night and it helps since you have to wake up early as well.

  4. take a warm water bath before bed time .read some good book drink a cup of warm water mixed with honey and lemon juice.

  5. it will be hard the first couple of days but when you start waking up early you're body will get tired and you will start to fall asleep early.

  6. Try doing exercise 3 hours before you wanna go to sleep. but do an intense exercise and you will fall asleep quickly. Try do that until you get used to sleep at 9.

    don't drink pop tea or coffee

    don't listen to music as it can get you excited

    don't go in front of TV or computer before going to sleep

  7. okay whatever time you fall asleep, set your alarm for like 8 am then get up then, dont fall back asleep or lay in bed for a little bit, just get out of bed and do something. dont lay on the couch of anything. then you'll be tired enough to go to bed at 9pm or whenever you want. =]

  9. Start going to bed a little bit earlier each night. Also get up early and then you will be tired and ready to go to bed. Also you might try chamomile tea it has a calming effect.

  11. Drink hot chocolate, warm milk, or hot tea . You can also play soft soothing music.

  14. Get on a regular sleep schedule and stay on it. Once your body gets used the routine, you will start to fall asleep and wake up at the same time every day.

  16. 1.) Do not eat 3 hours before you want to go to bed. Eating sugar might cause your metabolism to generate energy.

    2.) Do not drink caffeine 5 hours before you go to bed. Some people have trouble getting to sleep after drinking coffee.

    3.) Stay away from the computer for 1 hour before you go to sleep. The light from the computer can delay the body from producing melatonin.

    4.) Melatonin is a natural chemical your body produces to cause sleepiness. I find that taking melatonin pills encourage sleep.

    5.) Read while in bed.

    6.) Set an alarm clock to wake up on time!

    Be weary of sleeping pills because some are addicting.

  17. Try playing a movie in your head....   Make it one that you really like and have seen often enough so you know all the lines, actions, sceens etc.

    Try to make it non-violent or too action filled.

  18. unfortunately, I had the same problem and had to readjust my sleeping schedule completely.

    So a few days before school, I'd go to bed around the same time as normal, but I'd set an alarm so I wake up way earlier than usual, and I'll be very tired earlier in the night.

    I went to bed at 3 and woke up at 6 and then that night I went to bed at 9 and woke up at 6 again. It actually worked :D

  19. do more activities in the day to wer u out, or do an all nighter so the next day ya will be shattered and you will go to sleep early
