How to feed a red belly frog?

I just got a red belly frog on Thursday and i was told to feed it grasshoppers. I feed 4-5 a day. do i feed it to him all at the same time or through out the day? or something completely different?

  1. dragonflies, stoneflies, caddisflies, trueflies, fishflies ... you can feed it really any type of fly... grasshoppers... Basically insects.


  2. get some grasshoppers at the pet store and put them in the tank


  3. All you have to do is throw in 4-5 a day.

    He will eat them whenever he is hungry.

    The next day check around the cage to see if he's eaten them all, then add however many will bring his total back up to 4-5.

    Do not be surprised if he doesn't eat all of them all the time.

    Frogs (and amphibians/reptiles in general) can go a few days with out eating at all.

    Make sure not to have too many crickets in there at once, the crickets will gang up on your poor little frog and kill him.

    (seriously seen this happen)
