How to feel great and confident about yourself?

Hey,

I have random times when i'm So confident and sure about myself, but most of the time i am down and not sure of my self. What do you think i should do to keep me happy, and any advice

  1. If i get my hair done i feel good about myself! or if someone pays me a compliment or if i get new clothes things like dat!

There are loads of negative stuff about every one but then there are loads of positive stuff so when you feel bad about yourself, try think of more positive stuff, the littlest things matter it could be when you wake up in the morning and have your breakfast anything like that will make you feel better

    Affirmations are very powerful and need to be spoken as though they have already happened. Say to yourself "I am a very confident person", "There is nothing I cannot do if I put my mind to it".

    Visualize yourself being congratulated on something you dream to achieve, imagine the person shaking your hand and saying well done. Hold a picture of you being successful.

    Every evening, just before you go to bed, think to yourself at least ten times, 'I am a confident man/woman'. This leaves a positive frame of mind inside yourself and will make you feel more confident the next day.

    Blind belief and fanatic diposition can make one feel confident. But that can be disasterous.

    Hence rather than making frantic effrots to "somehow feel confident" explore and care for your true self. Your true self is noble and dignified.   4. Close your eyes and cross the road, if you get accross safely you will feel that you are both a risk taker and an achiever.

    Why not then move onto a bigger challenge such as a motorway?

  5. the times you are confident what makes you feel that way? find the positives you have and make a list of them. then every time you feel unsure just read this list and remember to be proud of yourself for what you are!

  6. I've read a book that says it's all about self talk. Feed yourself positive thoughts and ideas. I am also trying this tactic on myself, somehow it gives me worry-free attitude.. less worry. I learned to accept hings that I can not be always somebody I want to be and i accepted the fact that i can't please anybody. Sometimes, what made us feeling down are those times when things didn't go as w e planned . Try not to be hard on yourself. Be happy by putting positive thoughts on your mind even when things go wrong. There must be a reason why good and bad things happens. happiness should start from the inner self.

    Stop being a psychic mind reader. You create this world around yourself, this skewed view and notions about yourself based on what others think and feel. It's possible that you are consistently thinking of what others may be thinking about you.

    Which leads us to this: The way you judge yourself forms your view of other people.

    If you judge yourself critically, you see others as judging you the exact same way. And when you live in a world where everyone judges you as harshly as you judge yourself, it is IMPOSSIBLE to feel good and be confident.

    Just remember: Confident people live life believing that everything is within their capabilities.

    Confident people supply their own sense of validation. They don't need others to feel good about themselves. They have such an amazing set of beliefs and see the world from such a position of strength and security that they aren't afraid to lose something they want in order to have something they feel they deserve: Self-Validation.

    They do not spend time dwelling on failure or criticizing themelves, putting themselves down, or comparing themselves to others. They move through life with a sense of calm, and challenge themselves to get what they want, feeling that everything is within their grasp. They dont see obstactles as roadblocks, but rather as something to be overcome. People who lack confidence make life difficult for themselves, and once they learn how to be confident, doors to opportunties will open from which they never knew existed.

  9. look at other people.  notice something strange about them.  then you'll feel instantly better about yourself!

    play some poker against your friends.  maybe you'll win a few hands, and that will give you confidence.

    take up an activity like shooting a gun at a range.  get good at it.  then you'll have confidence.  works good with any sort of undertaking, even if its just mowing the lawn.

  11. just be a happy person. have a fun time in life and if you're down do something to cheer yourself up! dont' try too hard though!  

  12. it sounds cocky but it really gives you that extra boost. just in your head think im the best. dont act like it, and never say it. but think it too yourself and youll appear confident. and always think that you have an advantage over people. then you wont seem imtimidated. youll be the one that appears more intimidating.

  15. Well ask yourself this,when you feel good about yourself what are you doing?My strongest advice to you is find things that make you feel good whether is some nice colon or making a goal like jogging in the morning for 30 mins and sticking with it.

Everybody has ups and downs in the way they carry themselves or conduct business, but if there are times that you really feel down and out of sorts, and it is not following a pattern, then I say look at what happened right before you felt that way. Let's say you go to a board meeting and people shoot down your suggestions. It really did not bother you at the time, since maybe you felt their had better suggestions. Then, a few hours later, you are thinking of some suggestion for a co worker-your subconscious mind might recall the earlier board meeting and you might say to yourself " My idea won't work, I better not say anything" So, that is the first step, to find out what is causing us to feel less than we normally do about ourselves. Next, we then decide, that maybe while we are confident in that board meeting to make suggestions, maybe we are not confident enought to back up our suggestions. So, then, you must decide to back up your answers more and not being afraid of being rebuffed. You might find the board will either accept your idea, or you will feel more confident in your presentation.

    This is just a small example of what is going on, or might be, but I say look at things that happened right before, like a few hours or the prev day and see if that is affecting how you feel now.

    If not, then you could join a club or association akin to your hobbies.

  24. U can start by applying more sport in your life then and very important help pepole,respect them and try to make some thing in you life-time by offering even some good talk with poor pepole,then tell me how do you feel about.
