How to figure out what i need to get on the exam to pass.?

I just need the basic math and such.

first quarter is 40%

second is 40%

and the exam is worth 20%

  1. your grade = 0.4w + 0.4x + 0.2y

    w = 1st Quarter Percentage

    x = 2nd Quarter Percentage

    y = final exam percentage

    I don't know what you consider passing...so you can input your own numbers and decide.
