How to figure percentages regarding charitable donations?

I need some help with the math experts out there in Yahoo Answers Land.

I am responsible for the United Way donations in my department. Last year we had a total of $604 donated. This year we have $739.50!

How do I figure the percentage increase from these figures? It's been a while since I have been in school and, I do this once a year... So, a little help would be nice.

Your calculations are as follows:

(739.50 - 604)/604 = 0.2243 = 22.43 %
