Question:

How to finalize a DVD in a Canon DC100 so that it is possible to select a specific scene when playing in a PC?

After I finalize a DVD and try to watch it in the DVD unit of my PC, all the scenes come together as a whole movie and not as individual scenes. I have to go forward (the software I use is powerDVD 5) to watch the scene that I want. But if I play it in my DVD player, I can select the scene that I want to see. How can I do the same in my PC? Because I want to give a friend a DVD with a copy of just that one scene and not the entire movie. My idea was to save that scene in my PC and then put it in a new DVD, but I can´t because all the scenes come together as a movie. Can anyone help me? Thanks

  1. You haven't set any chapters before you finalised it, don't despair, import the dvd into a video editing pro gramme, Ulead video studio 11 is the very best one & a free 14 day trial is available from www.corel.co.uk. When you have imported it  follow the instructions to separate the different scenes as separate clips, save the clip you want as a separate file, stat a new project & use the clip you want, then ADD CHAPTERS, these can be any place you like in the clip. After you are satisfied just burn another DVD
