Mount St. Joseph's was a girl's convent in the 50's. My sister and I lived there 1958-1960. It is no longer there in SF. The address was 1600 Newhall St. SF, CA. I would like to look up the history and also find a picture of it when it was there. It was way on top of a hill up there in SF. I remember when your going to SF from the Bay Area you could see the tower from the freeway. Or anyone who did live there at that time, that would be good too, if you wrote a message here. Sister Yvonne, was the head of my dorm. Very nice lady she was.

I am the one who played "Heart & Soul" in the chapel. Because I was so proud that I could play the song. I wanted God to hear me. And, I didn't know...but, the nuns were in prayer underneath me. I got in so much trouble. Any information would be grateful. Thank you.

  1. Maybe you could try Local Libraries, the ones in SF. they should have all kinds of information, or even maybe some kinda council office, like town halls, or something similar,   or even there got to be some website or another, maybe like wekipedi is quite an OK- good site, to look for all kinds of information...
