How to find a computer so when you aren't using it you cant see it in your living room?

i dotn have an extra room for it own room, and i want it in a public place so i can watch my children playing on it, but where not in use i dotn want to see it.

  2. If I understand your question (it is a bit jumbled)...

    You can store your computer in a cabinet that has doors...so that you can close them when not in use...MANY furniture manufacturers make "computer cabinets" for just this reason...

  3. two words....computer armoire!  I have my computer in the dining room but didn't want it to look like an office, so this was my solution.  Sauder makes some inexpensive units.  Check the officemax, officedepot, and staples sites for these.

    If you want to pay more for a real wood unit, a search on google will bring up a bunch as well.

I suggest either a laptop, which can be online with a wireless network but still folded up and put away easily, or a computer armoire.  With an armoire you can hide all sorts of office mess!  We lived on a military base for a long time and it was very small.  We bought a $400 computer armoire from Sauder and that enabled us to have a real living room and a real office all in one.  The armoire lasted 10 years and one move before we gave it to a guy just starting out...
