How does one go about finding a decent Bankruptcy Attorney? And by decent, I mean one that doesn't charge a ton and will actually get the job done?

  1. Contact your local state bar for a reference, Lawyers are required to be licensed and they should be able to help


  2. They all charge too much, but they all can get the job done.

    It is accounting, not rocket science.

    You either qualify or your don't.

  3. Why not explore ways to avoid bankruptcy and live up to meeting your obligations that you precipitated instead of fleecing those who had faith in you . Then you wouldn't have to worry about what the Bankruptcy lawyer would overcharge you.
