  1. What's your idea of a reasonable price - there's a huge price range?  Similarly, what sort of features do you want - are you looking for something to carry in your pocket just in case, or are you planning to make sophisticated videos?  What's the significance of a 2 gig card?

  2. miniDV, inexpensive cameras have a lot of features.

2 gig? one 60 minute DV tapes holds the data equivalent of 60 gig and you don't have to erase it when your are done. 2 gig will only hold 2 minutes of DV quality video.  while you need to compress video to get on u-tube, it will be easier and better to edit the master at full DV resolution. Then use a high quality software codec in your computer to squeeze it down.

  3. Just visit http://digitalcameras.fateback.com/Camco... you will get what you want.

  4. "HandyCam" is a Sony brand name.

Best video quality comes from miniDV tape based camcorders. Do you want to store stills on that 2 gig card? If you want to store video, it will be highly compressed and video quality will not be so good.

Since you did not give us a budget ("reasonable" to me for a good video camera is $3,000 and I am not a pro) and you locked into Sony, I guess the cheapest I would suggest you look at is the HDR-HC9 (though I am on the verge of getting either a HDR-FX7 or HVR-V1U).

  5. i suggest canon HG10 to you

in my opinion it is really wonderful camcorder
