Hi!! I'm Andrea from Milano...ITALY...well...you can find an apartment trought immobiliar agency...or if you came here, you can stay in hotel until you have find an apartment. It's easy...but...Do you want find apartment from your city or do you want find apartment here? sorry for my bad english...

You can find it reading the specialized magazines, or on the free brochures finding out of the stores or markets. You have to know that the most important agencies, known near in all Italy, are Tecnocasa and Gabetti casa.

There are so many useful sites out there but I recommend the following two:

www.portaportese.it (italian only)

www.easystanza.it (multiple languages)

I used 'easystanza' to find my apartment in Rome.  Both of these websites are mostly for room shares or sublets.  If you're looking for your own apartment you're best going through an agency.
