How to find an image from where it was taken on the internet??

I have some photo's on my pc and I would like to know if there is any search engine that instead of words it searches pictures.(in stead of you typing "dog" u put a picture with youre dog to see where is it from and at what webpages does it show)

That would be nice but the overhead would be too much. Looking for words only requires a match of a few bytes of letters. Matching a picture would require thousands of bytes. There is no way to index it and a straight search would take forever.
