How to find downloaded items on computer

I recently downloaded this patch for a game so i can try it online but for some reason once i finished downloading it and it was complete, the patch just disappeared. i tried searching for its filename on the computer with no luck. is there a way i can recover it? because the download took 2 hours and i notice i keep losing memory every time i try to re download it again.

  1. Go to Start menu> Search Then select what type of file you want then it asks for the name write {your File Name or Part Of It} in the "All or part of the file name" box


  2. start>new window>top right should have your user account name>click on it>new window>contact, documents, favorites, DOWNLOADS, etc...Select>download>should have your downloaded program in there...

  3. Re dl the file and on the download box right click the file and click "Open Containing Folder"

  4. IT WILL B INSIDE " LOCAL SETTINGS " FOLDER(Temporary Internet Files)...OR OTHERWISE FIND THE PATH OF THE DOWLOADED ITEMS ON UR BROWSER'S DOWNLOAD SETTINGS...
