How to find good examples to reference for the SAT essay?

Hi everybody, I'm taking some prep lessons right now, but everytime I get to the essay part, I have major writer's block. I know how to answer the question, but I really don't read that much.....just the books we have to read for school, and that's it. I took AP US, but its hard for me to remember specific situations that applied to the prompt. So how would you suggest how I can come up with an example really quickly for these essays? TIA

Make things up. The essay scorers are not allowed to score you on the accuracy of the facts or examples you use. Just make sure they are relevant. Also, CollegeBoard.org says "Developing your point of view doesn't mean coming up with as many examples as you can. Rushing to give multiple relevant examples can lead you to oversimplify a complex topic".
