how to find goverment bonds?

about 5 years ago a relative bought goverment bonds online. She said about 25 of them. She now has no idea where she bought them, has no receipts and no way to access them.

Is there any type of data base where they could be tracked maybe using name and SS?

Go to WWW.PUBLICDEBT.TREAS.GOV and select Treasury Direct.  You should find info there on how to file a claim.
