How to find how to report an accident with a driver that carries sr22 insurance would my car be covered?

the driver happens to be my boyfriend although it is not a healthy relationship , he claims he'll fix it but his word means c**p !!

help !! i will n eed my car fixed !!!

SR22 is liability insurance which is required for individuals with bad driving records in those messed up states (New Hampshire for example) where liability insurance is not required.  Liability insurance covers the other persons personal property or medical costs for passengers in your car.  If your boyfriend was driving your car and rear ended  somebody else's car, then the only thing that his insurance is going to cover is the other person's car.  However, if you have collision insurance, then YOUR insurance will cover the damages.  I would contact his insurance company, but it sounds like you're screwed, and will have learned a valuable life lesson.

well, well,  sweety you need to find out what company does he have his insurance with . and get his policy number and call the company to report the accident. but i would suggest to take care of it with him before doin anything that will affect him later even if you relationship is shaky. if you do something hasty you might regreat it  later .

To begin with, SR22 is not insurance.  SR22 is a form your insurance company fills out and sends to the state showing that you have coverage.  It if most often required for those drivers that are deemed high risk and have a lot of tickets or accidents.
