How to find if Safe Haven Humane Society is 501-3C?

Safe Haven Humane Society and Low Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic claims to be a 501-3C group. Unable to verify this-

Why does it matter to you? If they do a good job and are friendly, what does it matter?

Besides, I highly doubt that any "Low Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic" could survive without having a constant flow of money from the gov.

Did you ask them if they could show you the paper that says they are a 501-3C? I found this link that says they are 501-3C, is it in Oklahoma? If so, then I found the right one.
