I graduate in december with good experience in my chosen field; finance. However, i want to get a job anywhere around the country - but am not sure how to go about looking. What are the best ways to get info on jobs around the country?

  1. Speak to your careers advisor.  I work in a University and there should be people employed to give you that information and you are usually able to access their services for a couple of years after graduation.

Also try looking at the websites below.  There are also the standard job websites to look at, like Fish4jobs, monster, totaljobs etc etc.

    Good luck!

  2. Fish4jobs.co.uk

  3. also try www.gumtree.com, post your CV on Monster (be careful to be precise as otherwise you'll get unrelated calls), http://www.grb.uk.com/, http://london.craigslist.org/ (and you can also search for other cities) and don't forget to apply directly  on companies' website as some won't advertise job offers.

    Good luck!

  4. Places to try:

    www.totaljobs.co.uk

    www.monster.co.uk

    www.workthing.com

    www.job centre plus.com

the last will feature every job registered in the UK

    good luck.

  5. Look on the websites of the companies you are interested in.

The company I work has offices in Bristol, London and 2 in America - and vacancies for all offices appear on the one website.

  6. try looking at monster.co.uk i hear northern rock need good financial experts too (o: j/k good luck
