  1. Go to your ip adress your router has provided.

  2. You have to set it up first, then make sure it is broadcasting (not hidden).

If you haven't set up a WEP key, then there won't be one to fill out.

I suggest using WPA2 encryption; WEP is very easily hacked and people can use your wireless for free if they are next to your house.

  3. To find your WEP key, go to the computer that is already connected to the internet through that router, and put your browser the router's IP address, depending on the brand, it's going to be http://192.168.2.1, 1.1, 1.2, 0.1, or 1.0. Google/Yahoo your router brand and find out which one, once logged into your router settings, look for "wireless" and "securtity", it should display your WEP key.

  4. i dont no

  5. The WEP key is whatever password you have put on your wireless router.

  6. If you use a Ethernet cable it's done automatically.

The wep key should be listed in the back of the modem.  Have you change your SIDD and WEP?  If so hit the reset button on the modem to change the SIDD and WEP to their default name and password.  Keep in mind you may have to reset other wireless devices.

To edit the SIDD and WEP open any internet browser and type 192.168.1.1

  7. login to the router setup, it'll be displayed there.  You can find it on your wireless setup but it's hidden with * or circles for security.
