How to find my passion in life and career?

a bit lost after breaking up with a person whom i was going to marry. Seems like nothing works out. Now, I'm trying to figure out who i am. I graduated with a bachelor's degree and i am working for my parents full time making 75k a year. I am 27 years old. I have been studying to get into an mba program just to stay focus and hopefully that will lead up to a good career. I am not sure what i like to do as far as work.

So... how do i find my passion?

so far the motivation is to learn how to take care of myself before i can share that with someone else...

  1. I don't know what the answer to your question is, however, I know how you feel.

I started University not knowing what the heck I wanted to do...I changed my major twice....Thought I might as well become a teacher, since that's what everyone else in my program was doing.

After I graduated with a History B.A., I decided there was no way I wanted to be with kids all day, every day.

So I took some time off (almost 3 years) and just worked as a paralegal. I was waiting for my "true passion" to come and find me.

I was getting bored at work big time, so I started volunteering at the hospital (my sister works there), and I discovered that I actually loved being around elderly people. So now, on Tuesday, I start school again, this time, in nursing. I'm like 10 years older than the new students, but I don't care.

I sure hope this is my "true calling", but there's no true way of knowing, I don't think.

But I can tell you for the first time in a long time, I'm excited about something, and it's the first time I'm excited about school, ever.

I'm sure you will find out what your passion is.

The point I'm trying to make is that you never know when that will be. Just hang in there, and things will all fall into place.
