How to find out / create wii internet connection via wireless?

my friend has just bought mario kart for the wii and is desperate to know how to play other people around the world on it. how do you find out or create a internet connection via Belkin_G_Plus_MIMO_3A2FE3 (router)

from the wii main screen you go to options on the second menu you will see internet, then you pick wireless and scan for connections, it will bring up a list of wireless, pick your one and set it, thats pretty much it.

To connect your Nintendo Wii to a wireless network (wi-fi,) turn on your Wii and go to the bottom left corner to the Wii Options menu. Go to the page where you connect to an internet connection to Wii.  Press the "Internet" and then press "Wireless conection." Once you find your wireless network, connect to it and you should be able to coonect to the Internet and play wi fi with Mario Kart Wii.
