I have checked the Vin # on the frame in all the stolen USA and Canada "Stolen ATV links"" and got nothing. But the guy who is selling it will give me only a Bill of sale and has no title. It is a Suzuki Z400. Does anyone know of a site where I can check the VIN for FREE? I have called our local tax/tag office and they don't have a link to check the VIN. I am in Florida. Thanks in advance....

  1. Alot of atvs don't have titles. Buy from a respected seller and you should be ok

  2. Your local police dept. or sheriff's office has access to the federal NCIC database that contains information on stolen cars, guns, ATVs, etc.

They may be able to run this ATV's VIN for you.  Not sure if they can, since it is not part of an investigation though...

  3. If you are not sure, don't buy it. Buy from a dealer with a good reputation.
