How to find out if my late father had a bank account in the country of Jamaica?

Is there a gov agency that can do a search for deceased's bank accounts?

I tried the Ministry of Finance who sent me to the Bank of Jamaica who said I had to try calling the banks one by one.

Try Scotiabank, National Commercial Bank, Victoria Mutual, First Caribbean International Bank.

Call each of the different banks and see if their are any records.
