How to find out if someone is still in jail in TN?

Back in Oct.2007 my former neighboor was arrested on child pornography charges. I thought that by now he would have been convicted, but I've looked on the felony and inmate seaches for my state with no luck. Is it possible that he is still in jail and just not convicted yet, or do you think he could have gotten the charges dropped?And how do I go about finding all this out?I would really, really like to know what happened with his case.

It is quite posible that he is still in jail awaiting trial, especially if it was "felony" charges. Attorneys need all the proof they can get in situations like this one and the more evidence there is the more prep time is needed to get a sure conviction. check with local Tn media, like the newspaper for trial or held over info.If all else fails contact the sheriff of the county he was charged in, he for sure can guide you in the right direction.

he may still be waiting to go to trial... those things take forever... call the jail to which is was brought.. its public knowledge... they will not give you a court date because its a security of correction deputies.
