I'm trying to file a small claims suit in Dekalb County, GA and need the residential address for the business owner. I've checked with the business licensing dept. and the Secretary of State. But this person's business is not incorporated, so is not required to be registered with the Secretary of State. The business licensing department does not have the owner's residential address.

  1. Go to Yellowpages.com for that state look for where you put in the business name, keep trying there. Try Better Business Bureau for that area.  Also in your search bar type the name of the business they may have a web page, that will give  you address. Good Luck

  2. Try from...... area telephone Directory.

  3. You don't need the residential address.  The person can be served in any spot in the county.  Have the Marshall's Office serve him at the business address.  That's where he'll be during the day, right?  So that's easier for the Marshall anyway.

I hope this helps.  Good luck!!
