How to find out who's calling my landline?

Question

Is there any way to find out who is calling my home phone?

Some pest is calling my house every 5 or so minutes, and hanging up as soon as I answer.

Can I somehow find out this person's number?

Try *69 or Caller ID and if that don't work than call the phone company and see if they have anything they can help you with.  There is a feature you can put on your phone to block a telephone number...call them and they will tell you about it.

I would guess that you must have teenagers or preteens in your house. If so, they will eventually get bored with it and will stop.

If you feel someone is seriously trying to harass you, you can contact the police non-emergency number  and have them set up a call trace for you.
