How to find rhythm?

Question

i got this guitar and i can handle all the fingering but the thing is i cant find the rhythm to play it and its hard to make up songs when u dont have have that

any suggestion how to find my rhythm

Go to a music store and get your self a Metranome. It is a small pyramid shaped item that you wind up and it keeps the beat for you with a 'TICK-TICK TICK"  sound so you can hear the beat while you play to it. You can also get electronic ones which can have a bigger variety of beats - 4/4  2/4 3/4  time etc. This will really help you. They are not expensive and are a really valuable tool. Piano players use them a lot too.
