How to find someones ip through their gamertag

me and my mate have a bet on that if he makes an account on x box live that by i wont be able to find his ip address through it, I heard about something called cain and abel, but I'm not sure how to use it....

Is it possible to find someones ip address through their x box live gamertag, if so how?

I know it's posisble, but I believe it requires hacking.

about the cain and abel I did some research and found out it was router bridging so that means it should work.

well police can run a test on it and that's probably with software so maybe google it and you'll probably need to buy it
