How to find the best deal on cruises there are so many companies i don't know where to start?

if  this is your first cruise go ahead and do all the research you can on the net. first go to the cruise line web sites--  I would have to suggest checking out Royal Caribbean first and then Carnival. RC cruises are nothing short of luxury, the service from all of the staff to you and the food are second to none. Carnival is also a very good choice but it is a slightly more laid back setting. ourselves we prefer RC, but they both are well worth the money.

after that I suggest finding a reputable travel agent to talk to. we have one who is a friend of ours and she does a excellent job of finding the best deals and the most exciting destinations for us. each time we book with her I double check the quote with the on line services such as Hotwire, Orbitz,etc. and she is either slightly cheaper or at least even with them. another good thing with booking though her is when we purchase the cruise, airfare, hotel accommodations, and transfers with her company they book directly with the cruise line that way if you run into delays such as airline flight problems due to weather, the cruise line will stand the cost of getting you caught up to the ship if it would happen to sail before you could get there. make sure and ask the agent about this option.

Never book directly with Cruise Lines, go with a travel agent, travelocity, expedia charge a booking fee as well, I found the cheapest is http://www.vacationsnbeyond.com but you have to request a quote from them.

Go to the major cruise websites. They should have some link for deals/cheap cruises. try Royal Caribbean!!!!! They are a spectacular cruise line and have good deals. The service is awesome and they have great activites for all ages! Try the link and look around on the website!
