Just send a email to the company by asking some question and doubts about their task

if they respond in a genune way within two to three days means they are good people otherwise scammers!

Every real company will give their contact informations like websites,email ids or else mobile numbers.

Try to search them in the yellow pages that there is a guy with the same name or any company corresponding in the same name.

Read all the instructions before investing and if their is any website you get reached get concentrated on that and check whether the job and their products have any relation.

Most legitimate companies seeking employees are VERY exclusive and competitive. You'll know when it's legit, because you have to TRY HARD just to get them to acknowledge your existence, let alone contact you about the position.
