I just bought a new snowboard for next season and i am now looking at bindings/boots for it. I have snowboarded a lot before but this is my 1st time owning my own board. I was wondering if there are any suggestions for the style/type of bindings and bootsthat i get i wasnt sure if it mattered. i prefer freeride but do freestyle once in awhile.

my board:

  1. If you are mainly riding all mountain, don't get a really flexible freestyle binding - get something with more support that will give you more power to the edge when carving.

Any manufacturer's strap-in binding will work with any standard boot - just find the boots that fit the best and pick binding with quality hardware and metal buckles that will last. I like the Ride EX binding.

    Good Luck

  2. get boots and bindings that go together,

ie, if you get k2 bindings get k2 boots, that way they will work together and perform better.

it might be best getting forum all round then you know they, work with the board too as they will have all been tested together

but my personal opinion get boots from a boots only company and bindings from a bindings only company,

    recomendations:

Union bindings are tested with Deeluxe Boots

or thirtytwo make good light boots and work well with union bindings
