How to fix Yahoo Music Jukebox sound quality?

I have had no problems with Yahoo Music Jukebox until today. My music files, the LAUNCHcast Radio, Y!unlimited... all audio from this player is full of static. When I play the same files on iTunes or other players the audio works fine. Any fixes for this problem???

You've got the volume control under Yahoo Music Jukebox (YMJ) set too low or the more likely problem is the equalizer or audio boost settings are messing up your music.

I have had this problem also, especially when using the equalizer controls. The only way to get half-decent sound is to keep all the settings at default (mid-point) and not use boost. Even so, I still think Musicmatch Jukebox and itunes sound better (but they each have their own problems.)
