How to fix a 1990 Electrohome rear proj. 45" tv. with problems?

I was given the above tv. The problems are it flickers for a while when turned on, the picture has a greenish tinge and there is a red shadowy line that appears across the top. Some sites say it can be fixed manually others say it needs a repairman, but I can't find anything specific for this tv.

The only thing I can find on the back says Electrohome proj45 and the remote has all of the writing rubbed off.

I would like to know what it is, and if it should be junked.

Sorry to say, but get a new TV.  Its good its lasted 18 years because your going to end up paying as much as a new tv to fix it.
