Question:

How to fix a curved spine?

Last year at school the nurse did the yearly spine check. She noticed mine was a little curved, but it was no big deal. She just decided to check up on it. She did six months later, and it had actually gotten better.. almost to the point where the curve was gone.

All of a sudden i've noticed that my spine curves a lot more to the left than it ever has before. I feel like the top area of my spine is not centered, then begins to curve, and goes back to being centered. Is there anything i can do to correct this problem?

  1. Pilate's. Exercise! We fall into bad habits, slouch in chairs, rather than sit upright. Problem being when we get into a bad habit, our posture alters and if we allow it to continue end up with health problems later in life. Therefore Pilate's teaches you about muscle groups, core strength and how to exercise the muscles that keep your spine in the correct posture. Best of Luck

  2. Go to the chiropractor.  Trust me.  I have chronic back problems including what you have (its called scoliosis).  It will fix your spine over time.
